Skravle is a third-party chat client for Twitch. It is built so that your data stays on your device.
Nothing. Skravle has no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The developer does not collect, store, or share any personal information or usage data.
The app talks directly from your device to the following services, only to provide its features:
These requests necessarily expose your IP address to the respective services, as with any internet connection. Skravle adds no identifiers to them.
Logging in is optional. If you log in, Skravle receives an access token from Twitch and stores it only in your device’s Keychain. It is used solely to connect to Twitch chat and Twitch’s API on your behalf, and is deleted when you log out. The developer never sees your token, password, or account data.
Settings (theme, language, text size, keywords), recent channels and emotes, and your local block list are stored on your device only, and are removed when you delete the app.
Mention and whisper notifications are generated locally on your device. No push servers are involved.
Skravle displays live, unmoderated chat from Twitch and is not intended for children. It is rated 18+ on the App Store.
If you email contact@skravle.app, we process your email address and the contents of your message solely to answer you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing support). Support emails are deleted once your issue is resolved. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers; its hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to operate and secure the service.
Skravle’s developer, reachable at contact@skravle.app, is the data controller for the processing described in the previous section. Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of it in portable form. Because the only personal data we hold is support correspondence, exercising these rights is usually as simple as asking us to delete an email thread. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Norway, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
